To activate, simply tap your profile photo in Messenger to access your settings and toggle on dark mode to switch the chat aesthetic from white to black.
Click on the downward-facing arrow in the upper-right section of Facebook. Find Dark Mode under the settings, then move the slider to the right to activate the option. Your Facebook pages will appear with a black background instead of white.
Tap your profile picture at the top of the screen to open a menu, and then tap "Theme" in that menu. The Customize Your Chat menu is shown. You'll see one section for Themes and another for Colors and Gradients.
Select the small Messenger icon at the upper left of the window, select Messenger, and select Preferences. This will open a Preferences window. Select Appearance from the left menu, then select the Theme drop-down. Here you'll see a selection of different themes.
Open the Messenger App for Windows. Click in the top left. Hover over Messenger and then select Check for Updates.
To get the theme you need to make sure that you have the latest version of Facebook Messenger on iOS and Android. If you don't, update the app and then head to the sub-menu in the app settings - you will find the theme there.
Navigate to Facebook.com and click on the S button. Click on "Find Styles for this Site" to open a new tab with free themes to use for Facebook. Click on any theme and a preview will be shown. If everything is fine in the previewed theme, click on "Install with Stylish" button at the top right corner of the page.
Tap on the information button at the top right corner of your screen. Under the chat settings, there you will find the Instagram Chat "Themes" button. Click on "Themes" and choose the theme you want to use.
We are introducing the ability to customize your background with your own photos so you can now video chat from your favorite sunset. Interestingly, Facebook-owned GIPHY also recently launched new custom background options for video calls, which, with this new option, could also be added into Messenger Rooms.
Here how to do it:
- Firstly, click on the 'Google Chrome' icon to open it on the screen.
- Then, visit the 'Chrome Web Browser' tab.
- Now, find the 'Color Changer' option in the search bar of the Chrome web browser.
- After that, choose 'Color changer for Facebook' from the given list on the screen.
Why is the logo a different colour? Facebook said the new look logo is designed to “mark our continued evolution from a simple way to message your Facebook friends, to a place to hang out with your favourite people, on your favourite apps and devices."
Open the Messages app —> Touch the More button at the top-right of the screen —> Select the Settings option —> Choose the Backgrounds option —> Select your preferred background. If your phone is updated to Android 9 and later, the customization feature in the messaging app is probably no longer available.
Go to the Messenger Login page into browser and click forgotten your Password into the messenger login page.
- Enter the email id or number into the Find your account box and click Search.
- Choose the any recovery option and click continue.
- Enter the verification code and click continue.
Facebook has said that the change comes as part of a strategy to reflect the way people message and keep in touch via the social media app.
