You can watch Netflix on your Chromebook or Chromebox computer through the Netflix website or the Netflix app from the Google Play Store.
If you see this message then your specific model of Chromebook is not compatible with the app, and you can't download the app to your device. Note: This is usually because it does not have a key function that makes the app to work. For example, the app uses GPS and your Chromebook doesn't have GPS.
Chromebooks are laptops and two-in-ones running on Google's Chrome operating system. The hardware might look like any other laptop, but the minimalistic, web-browser-based Chrome OS is a different experience from the Windows and MacOS laptops you're likely used to.

As shown in the image below, our Chromebook is running Android 9 Pie. Typically, Chromebooks don't receive Android version updates as often as Android phones or tablets because it's unnecessary to run apps.
Nearly all Chromebooks launched in or after 2019 support Android apps and already have the Google Play Store enabled — there's nothing you need to do. However, there are models new and old that simply can't run Android apps due to hardware limitations.

Launch the file manager app you downloaded, enter your “Download†folder, and open the APK file. Select the “Package Installer†app and you'll be prompted to install the APK, just as you would on a Chromebook.
1) Open the Google Play Store on your Chromebook. 2) Type in “Snapchat†in the Play Store's search bar to look for the app and press enter. 3) You should see a screen that has Snapchat displayed at the front. Click on Install to proceed with the download.
Open Settings > Apps & Notifications > See all apps and navigate to the Google Play Store's App Info page. Tap on Force Stop and check if the issue gets resolved. If not, click on Clear Cache and Clear Data, then re-open the Play Store and try the download again.
Chromebooks were already great, and now they're even better because you can install Windows software on them. Now that all new Chromebooks run Android apps, let's turn our gaze to running PC programs. And with a new app called CrossOver for Chrome OS, you can install several Windows software on your Chromebook.
You can download the open-source version, called Chromium OS, for free and boot it up on your computer! For the record, since Edublogs is completely web-based, the blogging experience is pretty much the same.
Chromebooks don't run Windows software, normally which can be the best and worst thing about them. You can avoid Windows junk applications but you also can't install Adobe Photoshop, the full version of MS Office, or other Windows desktop applications.
Installing Windows on Chromebook devices is possible, but it is no easy feat. Chromebooks were not made to run Windows, and if you really want a full desktop OS, they are more compatible with Linux. We suggest that if you really want to use Windows, it's better to simply get a Windows computer.
Some say Chrome OS is nothing more than a glorified browser. Chrome OS, on the other hand, is an operating system that powers Chromebooks, just like Windows powers certain laptops. It comes with the Google Chrome browser installed that can be used to access the web.
Here's how to run Chromium OS from a USB stick via CloudReady:

- Locate a USB port on the computer and insert your CloudReady installation USB.
- Turn the computer on.

Today Chromebooks work well when using browser-based cloud tools. As for professional developers, I think that Chromebooks are unlikely to become the first machine of choice for many developers. But I do find that a Chromebook is a great second, and very portable, coding machine.
