Delete selected device copy photos from the device in the photos menu
- Select one or more photos that are on the device.
- Select Delete Device Copy.
Method 1: Directly Deleted Android Photos from Gallery (Insecure)
- Tap on Menu and open Gallery app.
- If you were erasing a single photo then tap on that picture from the Gallery and simply hit the "Delete" icon on the bottom right corner and confirm it.
Thankfully, the Google Photos app makes this very easy: simply hold your finger down on the first thumbnail image and then drag your finger along the gallery until you get to the last one you want to share. This will select all of the images between the first and last, marking them with a tick.
Free up storage
- Open your phone's Settings app.
- Tap Storage.
- Tap Free up space.
- To pick something to delete, tap the empty box on the right. (If nothing is listed, tap Review recent items.)
- To delete the selected items, at the bottom, tap Free up.
If you deleted an item and want it back, check your trash to see if it's there.
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Photos app .
- At the top left, tap Menu Trash .
- Touch and hold the photo or video you want to restore.
- At the bottom, tap Restore. The photo or video will be back: In your phone's gallery app.

Photo Stream, it deletes from the My
Photo Stream view on
all of your
devices after you connect each device to Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
On your Mac
- Open the Photos app.
- Click the photos that you want to delete.
- Go to Image in the menu bar > Delete Photo.
- Click Delete to confirm.
Open the Google Photos app on your Android phone. Tap on Free up device space from the side menu, and then tap on Free up button to remove those photos from your device. The deleted photos will still be present in Google Photos.
Changing your wallpaper on 4.4 is easy, you just press and hold in any empty space on your screen after unlocking your phone. Choose "Wallpapers" and select your wallpaper. You can either choose one of the default ones, or select "Pick image" to choose one from your gallery.
Turn on your Samsung Galaxy phone and go to click the "Gallery" app. All the pictures, photos and videos will be displayed here. Long press on the photo that you would like to remove and tick on others as you like. Tap on the "Delete" option to delete the photos from your Samsung phone.
All you need is a USB cable.
- Firstly, plug in the Android USB cable to connect your LG phone to the computer. The computer will instantly detect your LG phone.
- Then, go to My Computer and open the LG drive.
- And then, open this folder and drag and drop your favorite photos to the computer.

- From any home screen, swipe left to locate and tap Gallery.
- Navigate to the folder that contains the file(s) you want to delete.
- Tap the trash can icon.
- Tap the file(s) to delete.
- Tap DELETE.
- Tap DELETE to confirm.
To delete photos in Google Photos
- At the top left corner of the first picture, click the select icon.
- Hold down SHIFT key and click on another picture to select a range.
- At the top right corner, click the Delete icon (trash can)
- Confirm "Items moved to trash are removed from":
- Click "Remove"
To delete albums; Go to your album tab, click edit. The ones that can be deleted will appear with an “X” over them. If you have to delete photos one by one, you have to click on the photo, hit options, and select “Delete Photo”.
Select the Settings app from your app drawer or home screen. Tap Apps & Notifications, then hit See all apps. Scroll down the list until you find the app you want to remove and tap it. Select Uninstall.

- From the apps list, tap Gallery.
- Navigate to the folder that contains the file(s) you want to delete.
- Tap the trash can icon.
- If multiple images/videos are in the folder, tap the files you want to delete.
- Tap DELETE.
- To access the Trash folder, tap the Menu icon with three dots, then tap Trash.
Save a photo or video
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Photos app .
- Select a photo or video.
- Tap More. Save to device. If the photo is already on your device, this option won't appear.
Tap Select Photos and choose the photos and videos you want to move. Or, tap Select all to choose everything.
How to create photo collages on Android
- Step 1: Download Photo Grid for Android.
- Step 2: Open the app and choose the style of collage you want to make (Multi is pretty cool).
- Step 3: Pick the location of the pictures you want to use for the collage.
- Step 4: Tap on individual photos to select them and then click Create.
To select all photos in the Album app
- From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon.
- Find and tap Album.
- When viewing thumbnails of photos and videos, touch and hold an item until it is highlighted.
- Tap the menu button (three vertical dots), then tap Select all.
To view and browse photos
- From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon (in the QuickTap bar) > the Apps tab (if necessary) > Gallery .
- Open an album and tap a picture.
- Tap the screen to display the icon bar (at the top of the screen) and the Touch Keys bar (at the bottom of the screen). The following options are available.
Press the icon of the file or the folder, and then you should be able to select several items. Having the same issue. Android users can only select one file at a time to upload, yet iPhone users are able to select multiple files.
Start the Gallery app by locating its icon. It might be on the Home screen directly or in a folder. And it can always be found in the apps drawer. How the Gallery looks varies from phone to phone, but generally the images are organized by albums.
It may be in your device folders.
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Photos app .
- At the bottom, tap Albums.
- Under "Photos on device", check your device folders.
How to Delete Files on Your Android Device
- Tap and hold your finger on the file you want to delete, then select either the Delete option or the Trash icon that appears.
- You can select multiple files to delete several at once.
Press the "Menu" key on your Samsung phone and select "Gallery." Select "Pictures" and choose a photo. If given the option, select multiple photos you want to send.
How to delete numerous-shot burst photos.
- Open your Photos app.
- Tap on your problematic burst photo.
- Tap Select.
- Toggle any single photo as your Favorite.
- Tap Done.
- Tap Keep Only 1 Favorite.
- Tap Select.
- Tap your 1 Favorite photo you chose in step 6.
Download or delete unsupported videos
- On your Android phone or tablet, open a browser.
- Select the videos you want to download or delete. Download: Click Download . Delete: Click Delete Delete. ?
Delete folders or files on a microSD card:
- Open the My Files app. On newer devices, the My Files app will be inside a folder named Samsung.
- Select the SD Card option.
- The files and folders on the SD card will be displayed.
- Press Delete on the pop up to confirm the action.
- The selected files will be removed.
Use USB cable
All you need to access your Android phone's files (and folders) on your PC is a USB cable (microUSB/USB Type-C). To transfer photos: Step 1: Connect the phone to PC via USB cable. Step 2: Connect as a media device: choose MTP option.
