Delete a Favorite:
Tap the three dots icon on Android or on iOS for More . Tap Remove .Delete bookmarks
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More .
- Click Bookmarks. Bookmark Manager.
- Point to the bookmark you want to edit.
- To the right of the bookmark, click the More. , to the far right of the bookmark.
- Click Delete.
Scroll through list, and select bookmark you want to remove and Right Click selection.
- You will get a dropdown window, select Delete & left click - bookmark is deleted.
- repeat steps as necessary for additional bookmarks.
Right click on Uninstall Edge. cmd and select Run as administrator. Wait for the process to finish and once the process is completed, restart your PC. Once your PC restarts, Microsoft Edge should be uninstalled from your computer.
For the bookmarks/favorites that you stored on Microsoft Edge browser, you can find it in this file location: C:UserAppDataLocalPackagesMicrosoft. MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbweACMicrosoftEdgeUserDefaultFavorites.
Unfortunately, there's no option to select and delete multiple bookmarks at once, so you'll have to remove each of them separately. To do this, tap the Edit button, then tap the red minus button, and select Delete at the bottom-right of the screen.
Google Chrome stores the bookmark and bookmark backup file in a long path into the Windows file system. The location of the file is in your user directory in the path "AppDataLocalGoogleChromeUser DataDefault." If you want to modify or delete the bookmarks file for some reason, you should exit Google Chrome first.
Clear your history
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app .
- At the top right, tap More. History.
- Tap Clear browsing data.
- Next to "Time range," select how much history you want to delete. To clear everything, tap All time.
- Check "Browsing history."
- Tap Clear data.
Open Safari and tap the bookmarks icon at the bottom (iPhone) or top (iPad) of the screen. Tap History, near the top of your list of bookmarks. Tap Clear at the bottom and select how far back you want to delete the history, or swipe left across an entry to delete that.
Click a bookmark. Shift-click another to select a range or control-click others to select discrete bookmarks, much like selection in other apps. Control-A will select all of them. Then click-and-drag the selection to the new folder you just created in the tree panel on the left.
In Safari:
Click "Bookmarks" from Safari menu and then click on "Show All Bookmarks" The browser displays a list of your bookmarked pages. Choose the bookmarks which you want to delete and click on “Delete” to remove the bookmark (You can also select one or multiple bookmarks and press “Delete” key)Open Microsoft Edge and select Settings and more > Favorites . Select Import. In the Import from box, select the browser you want to import your favorites from. Under Choose what to import, select Favorites or bookmarks (you can also select other items).
In Internet Explorer, you can organize favorites by clicking on "Favorites -> Organize Favorites" option present in Menubar. When you click on organize favorites option, it opens a small window which allows you to rename, delete or move existing favorite items. You can also create new folders to organize favorites.
Press "CTRL," "Shift" and "B" to open the Bookmark Manager. Click on the folder containing the bookmark that you want to delete. Click on the website that you want to remove from your Bookmarks menu and press "Delete" on your keyboard. The site will be deleted from your list of favorite websites.
