MySpectrumWifi, typically followed by some random number, is the default SSID for Spectrum provided modems. When you see that, a house near you probably has Spectrum as their provider.
When you connect to an available wireless network with your iPhone, the wireless profile is added to the phone's recognized connections on the device. The device saves hidden wireless profiles so it can automatically connect when in range. Tap the “Settings” icon in the iPhone Home screen.

To answer your questions, Spectrum includes the cost of a modem/gateway in the monthly Internet service charge. The $5 is a value-added monthly fee for enabling the WiFi function of the supplied gateway. You can avoid the WiFi charge by purchasing a wireless router.
WPA Key or Security Key: This is the password to connect your wireless network. It's also called a Wi-Fi Security Key, a WEP Key, or a WPA/WPA2 Passphrase. This is another name for the password on your modem or router.
Hostname: The unique identifier that serves as the name of your computer or server can be as long as 255 characters and consists of numbers and letters. Physical address: Refers to the physical address of the Ethernet connection to your computer or server.
To delete a wireless network profile in Windows 10:
- Click the Network icon on the lower right corner of your screen.
- Click Network settings.
- Click Manage Wi-Fi settings.
- Under Manage known networks, click the network you want to delete.
- Click Forget. The wireless network profile is deleted.
To find your WiFi network name and password:
- Make sure you're connected to your WiFi network.
- In the taskbar, right-click the WiFi icon, and then select Open Network and Sharing Center.
- Next to Connections, select your WiFi network name.

How to add a Wireless network profile in Windows 7
- Click on Start->Control Panel.

A hidden wireless network is a wireless network that isn't broadcasting its network ID (SSID). Because a hidden network doesn't broadcast, your PC can't find it, so the network has to find your PC. For this to happen, your PC must broadcast both the name of the network it's looking for and its own name.
To Show Wireless Network Profiles in Settings

- Open Settings.

- Under "Network profile," select one of the two options: Public – makes your PC hidden from other devices on a public network and disables file and printer sharing.
Why cannot I connect to the secured wireless network of the
- Check whether the laptop has a WIFI button, make sure the WIFI is on. Restart the laptop.
