Batch File to Copy FilesIf you want to copy files from one place to another in a batch file, you can have cmd copy and paste the file. Use the command simply called "Copy." Generally, put the word copy on one line, followed by the original file and where you want it copied, such as "copy C:ExampleExample.
Task information is stored in %WINDIR%System32Tasks (or C:WindowsSystem32Tasks ). They appear to be stored as a single file per task, in an XML type format.

Robocopy, or "Robust File Copy", is a command-line directory and/or file replication command for Microsoft Windows. Robocopy functionally replaces Xcopy, with more options.

How can I automate FTP file transfer?
- Create myftp. bat with the following contents cd /d %~dp0 ftp -s:ftp_info. txt ftp.
- Create ftp_info. txt with the following contents your_username your_password ls quit.
- Create ftp. sah with the following contents.
- Run ftp. sah from the Controller or using testrunner.
Move Windows Tasks in Task Scheduler
- Open Task Scheduler.
- Right-click the new destination folder and select Import Task…
- Browse to: C:WindowsSystem32Tasks.
- Change the file type at the bottom from XML files (*.xml) to All files (*.*)
- A list of all existing tasks and folders will be listed, select the task to be moved and click Open.
To move a file, hold down the Shift key while dragging. You can also use the middle mouse button to drag files. In this case, gThumb will ask you if you wish to copy the files, move the files, or cancel the operation.
To move a file or folder from one window to another, drag it there while holding down the right mouse button. Select the Traveler file. Moving the mouse drags the file along with it, and Windows explains that you're moving the file. (Be sure to hold down the right mouse button the entire time.)
To move a file or folder to another location on your computer:

Method 1: Connect FTP server and copy files from one server to another in Windows
- Open File Explorer, select This PC, then right-click the blank space and choose "Add a network location".
- In the new pop-up window, click "Choose a custom network location" to move on.
There are two different folders labeled "tasks". The first folder is relative to the scheduled tasks that would appear in the task scheduler, these are in c:windowstasks. The second tasks folder is located in c:windowssystem32tasks.

To enable simple file sharing in Windows, head into the Control Panel and go to Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center. Hit Change Advanced Sharing Settings and make sure network discovery, file and printer sharing, and public folder sharing (the first three options) are all turned on.
To copy files on your Desktop or in your Documents folder on the local machine to your network drive, simply open your Network Home Folder, and drag the files and folders you want into the Network Home Folder window. 1) In your document, click File, then Save As. 2) Scroll down on the left-side until you see Computer.
Simple way is:
- Go the shared folder, which contains files you want to copy to your drive.
- Select all the files you want to copy.
- In the upper right corner click on three vertical dots and select “make a copy”
- The files will then appear in your drive. Sorting them folderwise again is your headache :p.
Right-click and pick Copy, or press Ctrl + C . Navigate to another folder, where you want to put the copy of the file. Click the menu button and pick Paste to finish copying the file, or press Ctrl + V . There will now be a copy of the file in the original folder and the other folder.
Move files and folders by drag and drop within Team Folders only. Important: If you select the sharing permission Administrators only in a Team Folder, users won't be able to move files or folders by drag and drop in Google Drive. This is due to a restriction in Google Drive.
How to download a shared file or folder from Google Drive
- Click on “Shared with me” in the main menu on the left.
- Right click (or Ctrl+click if you're on a Mac) on the file or folder you wish to download, and click on “Download”.
- If you're downloading a folder, Google Drive will convert it into a .
- Your browser will begin downloading the file.
Google Drive doesn't offer a way to copy a folder and all of its contents when you use the web-based app. Instead, you have to copy the contents of the folder, create a new folder, and then paste everything into the destination folder. Finally, click “Move Here” to move all the selected files into this directory.
