You need to go into the system and remove the device from the car, then resync them and you should be fine.
Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink® is standard on every 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback. It only takes a few minutes to pair your Android™ smartphone. Make sure your phone is compatible using the "Find a Phone" feature on Honda's HandsFreeLink.com website.
Make sure Bluetooth is activated on your mobile device. On your Honda multimedia screen, press the Home button at the top left. Press "Phone", then press "Yes" to confirm. You will then be prompted to add a new device, tap "Yes".
Connect your compatible iPhone or Android phone to the Honda CR-V infotainment system via the USB connector labeled with a phone icon. When you go to the Home screen, the correct icon should show up, and you will be able to use the appropriate app to integrate your phone and vehicle.
Download the Android Auto app from Google Play on your mobile device. Connect your Android device to your Honda USB port using a manufacturer-approved USB cable. The USB port is usually located in the center console. When prompted about using Android Auto on your Honda Display Audio screen, select "Always Enable".
Connect your Apple iPhone to your Honda USB port using an Apple-approved Lightning-to-USB cable. The USB port is usually located in the center console. When prompted on your Honda Display Audio screen about using Apple CarPlay, select "Always Enable". Your Apple iPhone and Honda are now connected via Apple CarPlay.

Android Auto brings the most useful apps to your phone screen or your compatible car display in a format that makes it easy for you to keep your main focus on driving. You can control features like navigation and maps, calls and text messages, and music.
How to use Android Auto.
- Check your car. Make sure your car or stereo is compatible with Android Auto.
- Check your phone. If you have Android 9 or below, get the Android Auto app on your phone.
- Connect and go. Connect your phone to your car with a USB cable and see Android Auto on your dashboard display.
However, unlike Honda's most recently upgraded models, such as the Civic, the CR-V suffers from an older dashboard infotainment system that doesn't include Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.
Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration aren't available on the base model LX. But the Sport, EX, EX-L, and Touring/Sport Touring all have smartphone compatibility. Even the special editions Civic Si and Type R come standard with these features.
Android Auto is compatible with Android 5.0 and higher and available on several 2015 and newer Honda models.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto were first available on the Honda Accord and Honda Civic for the 2016 model year. Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (and the premium convenience they bring) will also be available on the 2017 Honda CR-V and return in the 2017 Honda Accord and 2017 Honda Civic.
But they're far from basic otherwise. Both the 2016 Honda Civic LX and the EX come standard with a wide-angle rearview backup camera.
