Go to Settings > Language & input > Text-to-speech output. Hit the Settings icon next to "Google text-to-speech engine". Under installing voice data you can select if you want male or female.
How to change Siri voice on iPhone and iPad
- Go to Settings, Siri & Search.
- Tap on Siri Voice.
- Choose an accent.
- Choose whether you want a male or female voice.
Some vocal warmups and exercises you can use to relax your voice include:
- humming.
- lip buzzing.
- tongue trills.
- loosening your jaw by opening your mouth wide, then gently closing it.
- yawning.
- deep breathing.
- gently massaging your throat to loosen tense muscles.
Before you reach puberty, your larynx is pretty small and your vocal cords are kind of small and thin. That's why your voice is higher than an adult's. As you go through puberty, the larynx gets bigger and the vocal cords lengthen and thicken, so your voice gets deeper.
Anatomical changesMost of the voice change begins around puberty. Adult pitch is reached 2–3 years later but the voice does not stabilize until the early years of adulthood. It usually happens months or years before the development of significant facial hair. It causes the voice to drop and deepen.

As your larynx grows, your vocal cords grow longer and thicker. Also, your facial bones begin to grow. Cavities in the sinuses, the nose, and the back of the throat grow bigger, creating more space in the face that gives your voice more room to echo. All of these factors cause your voice to get deeper.

Take a really deep breath and start humming for as long as you can while holding it. This will stretch your vocal cords — and stretched vocal cords always make a voice sound significantly deeper.
