The aspect ratio of a standard TV is 4:3. For a widescreen TV, it is 16:9. To set the TV aspect ratio on a TiVo Series3 or Premiere series box, go to TiVo Central and select Messages & Settings > Settings > Video > TV Aspect Ratio. Select 16:9 Widescreen if you have a widescreen TV.
Now take a look on your TV-set (that's connected to the TiVo) and use the remote control (press the TiVo button) to open the TiVo menu and select "Messages & Setup". Next choose "System Information". Look at the "Today's Date:"-line and check the time.
This can be easily fixed by doing the following
- Press the 'Home' button on your remote.
- Scroll down and choose 'Settings'
- Scroll down and choose ' Change Display and Audio Settings'
- Change the 'TV Display Format' to 'Widescreen' and press the OK button on the remote to save the new settings.
Press Home on your Sky Q remote, then select Settings, followed by Setup. Select Audio visual, then Picture resolution and select the resolution you want.
Why does Virgin Media block certain websites? Sometimes we're required to block content, meaning you can't access certain websites or servers using our broadband service. The Internet Watch Foundation can ask us to block a particular website to protect children and our customers from potentially illegal content.

A VPN is a “virtual private network”. It works by routing your internet traffic to another server (in this case one in the UK). This hides your IP address which, combined with additional security features such as encryption, enhances your online privacy. Unfortunately Virgin Media blocks many VPNs.
No other live channel will ask for a PIN unless you've chosen to lock them with one via Parental Controls, and you can turn off Locked Channels and PIN for recorded programmes via Help & Settings > Settings > Parental Control.
Accessing Websites Blocked By Virgin MediaThe easiest way to access websites blocked by your ISP is by connecting to a VPN. A VPN circumvents restrictions by changing the country that you appear to be connecting from.
Upon further investigation, it seems that Virgin Media might be blocking IPTV access, but not at all times. During important events, such as Premier League matches, Virgin Media might block IPTV access. As a result, customers of the ISPs listed above started to complain about being unable to access IPTV services.
