If the Google Home app can't find your bulb or plug during set up
- Turn the device off for 10 seconds, then turn it back on.
- Make sure you have the latest version of the Google Home app.
- Reboot your speaker or display.
- Force close the Google Home app.
- Factory reset your speaker or display.
Make sure the Wi-Fi network is a 2.4 GHz network. The Smart Wi-Fi Light will not connect to a 5 GHz network. If your Smart Wi-Fi Light is already on the right frequency, make sure that your phone is not using a VPN app in the background.
If your smart light bulb isn't working, or Alexa can't discover it, reset your device. To reset your smart light bulb: Go to the manufacturer's companion app or website to follow instructions specific to your device. Reconnect your smart home device to Alexa in the Alexa app.
Bad Pin Connection – If your LED strip light fails to turn on at all, then check your pin connections. Most likely, the pin is not inserted correctly. In rare cases, the pin is faulty. If your RGB strip lights won't change colors try flipping your strip light around and reconnecting it.
To enter pairing mode, turn the Smart light on and then off for 3-5 seconds at a time. Do this 3 times. The Smart light will begin blinking rapidly once in pairing mode. Connect to your desired Wi-Fi network, enter your password, then select .
Turn the bulb off for 2 seconds, then on for 2 seconds. Repeat three more times. After the fourth cycle, the bulb will flash, indicating that the reset was successful.
