You can only post a total of 250 posts daily. This includes reblogs, and yes, the number applies to the cumulative posts on both your primary and secondary blogs. Tumblr will reset the post limit only when it hits 12 midnight Eastern Time, as its headquarters is based in New York.Tumblr users do not receive a notification informing them that they've been blocked. Tumblr. Tumblr (stylized as tumblr and pronounced "tumbler") is an American microblogging and social networking website founded by David Karp in 2007 and currently owned by Automattic. The service allows users to post multimedia and other content to a short-form blog. Users can follow other users' blogs.
Tumblr does not directly claim ownership over the material you post on your blog, meaning you can freely use it again elsewhere. Though you retain ownership, Tumblr does have the right to reuse or modify content you post without further permission.
Tumblr is a short-form, social blogging platform that supports rich media like videos and photographs; is flexible in terms of design and use; absorbs posts via email, text, or even a phone call; integrates well with other social media sites; and is growing in popularity.
Yahoo bought Tumblr for $1.1 billion in 2013. Verizon bought Yahoo's operating business, including Tumblr, for $4.48 billion in June 2017. Verizon's moves into the media business haven't gone so well. In January, Verizon laid off 7% of the 11,385 employees in its media division, which includes Yahoo and AOL.
