BSNL stops free Sunday calls on landlines, CalTel for new plan. Free night calling and free Sunday calling were introduced from August 21, 2016. KOLKATA: State-owned telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) will withdraw its free voice calling benefits from landlines on Sundays from February 1.

BSNL will also offer Eros Now subscription completely free for the validity period with the Rs 98 plan.
BSNL Broadband users can change their broadband plans very easily as it is an online process. You can upgrade to a plan of your choice right from your home or office as there is no necessity to visit the BSNL office. However, you need to know your customer id number to change your BSNL broadband plan online.
This can be done by sending an SMS. To know your BSNL Account plan and profile details, send the SMS- “PROFILE” to the number- 52244. In a few minutes, you will get an SMS containing Account profile and plan. Go through the SMS and take note of the plan that you have activated on your number.
At any time you can recharge your prepaid mobile in online or offline for extension or migration to one another, but if same BSNL voucher done twice means, the number will activates with only one, i.e. the voucher of BSNL which is activated finally may comes into effect for activation.
Just send the SMS- “Ext Validity” to the number 51505 (without the quotes). BSNL will respond with an SMS asking you to confirm your request. Upon confirming it, the validity extension amount (36 Rupees in this case) will be deducted from your account balance and your validity period will be extended.
