Skullcandy has made a name for itself as a company that excels at bang for your buck products. While they're probably most known for their small, colorful earbuds, they've turned that into some really impressive audio products that are worth paying attention to.

Calls with the Skullcandy Jib True Wireless Earbuds were very clear and battery life was good, and they held in place while exercising. Sound was heavy on the bass, and they do feel a bit wobbly in the ear. But for $30 these are earbuds that are fine, and compete with options that cost more.
Yes, all Skullcandy Headphones & Earbuds have a microphone built-in which can be used for phone calls, conference calls, gaming, and recordings.

SkullCandy is definitely better than beats. Both brands sound about average but Beats will cost you way more and don't sound any better than their SkullCandy equivalent. If you have $200 to spend on headphones and you only want Beats or SkullCandy you almost have to get SkullCandy. The price of Beats is way to high!
Sony by far. Skullcandy produces ok to good sound quality but bad hardware quality. Sony is a bit expensive but it's much better if your looking for a long lasting one.
People in communities like this hate them because a large amount of relatively uninformed people think that Skullcandies are really fantastic, audio-quality and overall build/design-wise. Bose, Beats, Skullcandy all have a reputation in the general population for being great if not excellent headphones.
Plasticky build quality. Most of the headphones from Skullcandy are pretty affordable. However, this may be due to their somewhat plasticky build quality. It's better than some super cheap brands, but they don't feel very durable compared to other affordable models.
WARNING: Skullcandy Headphones Are Cheap And They Sound Good, But They Break Easily. Fortunately, if you're having the dead earbud problem, they'll replace your headphones.
The JBL E25BT are slightly better headphones than the Skullcandy Jib, but not by much. The JBL have a better build quality and a longer-lasting battery life.
Our VerdictThe Skullcandy Sesh Truly Wireless are a little bit better than the Skullcandy Indy Truly Wireless. The Sesh feel slightly better made and have a better-balanced sound profile, though it's still quite bass-heavy.
