Since Kindle Fire tablets run a version of Android, you can manually install
Android apps.

Fire tablets don't come with Google Play because Amazon has its own app store that it conveniently calls Amazon Appstore. That software is based on Android, though, and that means it's possible to “sideload†Google's Play Store onto it. It's not an arduous process, and you should be up and running in 10-15 minutes.
Installing the Play Store in your Fire Tablet
- Step 1: Enable apps from unknown sources. To do so, go to Settings > Security and enable “Apps from Unknown Sourcesâ€.
- Step 2: Download the APK file to install the PlayStore.
- Step 3: Install the APK files you downloaded.
- Step 4: Turn your tablet into a home controller.
