SelectHealth is an HMO, HMO-SNP plan sponsor with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in SelectHealth Advantage depends on contract renewal. SelectHealth is an HMO plan sponsor with a Medicare contract. Every year, Medicare evaluates plans based on a 5-star rating system.
With Select Value, you generally enjoy lower premiums, but with Select Med you will have a larger network, giving you access to more providers. You can search for participating providers at where you can also find patient satisfaction and quality ratings for many providers and clinics.

Select Med Plus is our most popular provider network and includes prominent hospitals like Primary Children's Hospital, Intermountain Medical Center and The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital (TOSH®). For cancer treatment, Select Med also includes the Huntsman Cancer Institute's clinics and hospital.
Travel and Out-of-Network Care

State Medicaid Programs
The following programs are in or near Intermountain Healthcare's service area: Utah Medicaid. Idaho Medicaid.Connect Care makes it easy to speak to a provider within minutes. They can even prescribe certain medications and will call it in to your preferred pharmacy. Connect Care is covered by most SelectHealth plans. Connect Care visits cost no more than $49 and may be covered by your insurance plan.
There may be times when you decide to visit a doctor or hospital not in the Aetna network. Some plans cover out-of-network care only in an emergency — otherwise, you are responsible for the full cost. For plans that do cover out-of-network care, you'll usually pay more than if you stayed in the network.
Intermountain Connect Care is a convenient, clinical care service for common conditions, available 24 x 7 x 365 through internet enabled computers or mobile (Android/iOS) devices.
$2,199 per eye for Custom LASIK. Fee covers all pre-, intra- and post-operative care. No surgeon's fee for enhancements for up to 2 years (facility fee may apply) Offer is available to all employees and members of SelectHealth and their families.
Chiropractic benefits for SelectHealth are administered by American Specialty Health (ASH). You may receive covered chiropractic services from any participating chiropractic provider.
