With the City-Ticket, the train journey does not finish at the station. Anyone who has booked a travel ticket that features "+City" can travel free of charge on public transport in 130 cities to get to their departure station and from the station they arrive at.
The seven-day-ticket is valid for seven consecutive days from the day of its validation. The ticket costs 36 Euros in tariff zone AB and 43.00 Euros in tariff zone ABC. Its validity ends on the seventh day at midnight.

Today only four German cities (and Vienna in Austria) have underground/metro (U-Bahn) lines: Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, and Nuremberg. A few cities, such as Cologne, Hanover and Stuttgart, have light-rail (Stadtbahn) trains that sometimes run underground, but these are not true underground subway lines.

S-Bahn trains run between the city's two central railroad stations (the Hauptbahnhof and the Ostbahnhof), serve outlying places of interest such as the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial, and provide frequent transportation between the city and Munich International Airport.
Who does not have a valid travel ticket for the bus or train, can get a “penalty fareâ€. 60 Euro is the penalty for fare evasion (so called “Schwarzfahrenâ€). If a passenger cannot or will not identify his- or herself, the police has to prove the personal datas.
