The hidden purchases are songs or apps that you may have downloaded that you do not want everyone who uses your account to see. So you can right click on them under your purchased section and choose to hide them. When you press the view hidden purchases button it takes you to your purchased screen.
Hide books in the Kindle appThe Kindle app on the iPhone does not let you delete books. However, they can be hidden. Books that are stored on the device have a tick icon. Go to your library and if you slide right to left over a book that has been downloaded and then press the Archive button.
Go to App Drawer> Home> Settings> Hide Applications> [choose apps to hide]> Done. Then, repeat the process to unhide the apps. The process to hide and unhide takes seconds; therefore a teen can easily get ready for a random inspection if you give him 20 seconds to prepare.

Inside the Apps folder is a Kindle folder (assuming you've installed Kindle for iPad), and within you will find Documents/eBooks. For those of you playing at home, the full path is Apps/Kindle/Documents/eBooks. I dropped a MOBI into that folder, and lo and behold, that MOBI can be opened in the Kindle for iPad app.

Your Amazon cloud is just your Amazon account where your digital content is saved (even if downloaded to a device). If you deleted books from the website, that IS deleting them from your Amazon cloud. If you use Send To Kindle or an @kindle address to download books, you use an Amazon cloud.
A free space on an 8GB kindle is about 6GB and a typical book size (texts only) is about 1MB. This means you can store 6000 such books in an 8GB kindle. Some books may be larger than 1MB, but it still should be able to hold 2000 to 3000 books easily. L.I.T.
Tap the book's page so that you get the icons along the top of the book, and then tap the icon at the far left (the three horizontal lines), and one of the options that you should get is Library.
