Then hit on the “Editor” button that looks like a pencil ion the right side of the image toolbar, and select the “Rectangular Selection” tool from the drop-down menu. On your desired PNG image, draw a crop area and tap on the “Crop” option. Hold down Command + K to complete the cropping process.
Click the picture that you want to create transparent areas in. Under Picture Tools, on the Format tab, in the Adjust group, click Recolor. Click Set Transparent Color, and then click the color in the picture or image that you want to make transparent.

How to use Silhouette files in Cricut Design Space
- Open Silhouette. Click on library.
- Find the silhouette file you would like to use in Cricut design space.
- The file will appear in the work area.
- Select the line fill to black.
- Click on the fill tool.
- Select the page setup icon.
- Remove the grid lines.
- Take a screen shot of the design.
If your Silhouette Autoblade continues to cut through the vinyl, it's very likely due to the way the Autoblade is seated in the tool carriage. When the blade is not fully seated in the tool carriage - meaning there is a gap (even a small one) - it actually cuts too deep.
Select the file and click “Okay” to open it in Silhouette Studio. Once the SVG is open in Silhouette Studio, you'll need to turn the cut lines on. Do this by going to the Send panel. Select the design, by clicking it, then pick “Cut” in the Send panel.
