Text-to-911 is the ability to send a text message to reach 911 emergency call takers from your mobile phone or device. FCC rules require all wireless carriers and other providers of text messaging applications in the United States to deliver emergency texts to call centers that request them.

Emergency SOS on an iPhone is a feature that allows you to immediately call emergency services after you quickly click the power button (also known as the Sleep / Wake button) five times in a row. After pressing the power button five times in a row, an emergency SOS slider appears.
Here's how to set it up:
- Launch Contacts.
- Tap the contact you want and then tap Edit.
